World by Atul Jha
We often become so engrossed in ourselves and our lives that they form the entirety of our world. Our dreams are our own, and our obsessions drive us to new heights. The tireless effort we put in merges passion, profession, and personal life into a single pursuit.
As we run, stumble, crawl, and push forward to build our lives, we begin to forget everything else—the people, the world around us. The pillars of our early years slowly fade into the background. Leisure and stillness lose their value. We become confined within the boundaries of our own world. Many call it ambition, many call it hard work—but I find myself questioning it.
Life, ambition, and the world around us should be intertwined. One should not diminish in favor of the other. Each deserves its place, in balance. This is something I, too, am learning to practice and improve in my own life.
