Doing the work for approval is a trap. The best work, the kind that matters, rarely gets immediate recognition. It feels uncomfortable because it goes against the grain—it’s not designed for validation but for impact.

The reality is, you can’t control how your work will be received. Markets are unpredictable. People resist change. And if you’re playing for applause, you’ll end up shaping the work to fit the crowd, not the truth.

The only thing you can control is showing up, doing what you believe is right, and staying consistent. Some of the most impactful ideas started unnoticed. Some even failed before they were fully understood. But the people behind them stayed focused on the work itself—not the noise around it.

Long-term success comes from conviction, not consensus. Do the work because you believe in it. The results will follow—eventually.
